What we collect
Account details you give us: email address, password (stored only in encrypted form), and optionally your name, age, phone number, company and profile picture. Your content: the messages you send, the answers Imran gives, and images you generate. Technical data: an anonymous device identifier, browser type, and the time of your visits, used for security and abuse prevention. Optional identity documents, only if you choose to apply for a verified badge.
Why we use it
To sign you in and keep your account secure, to produce and save your conversations, to remember preferences you explicitly ask Imran to remember, to prevent abuse and block accounts or devices that break the rules, and to understand overall usage of the service. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use your conversations to train our own models.
Guests
If you chat without an account, those conversations are stored only in your own browser and are not visible to us. Clearing your browser storage deletes them permanently.
Who processes data for us
We use trusted providers to run the service: a managed database, authentication and file storage provider, and AI model providers that process the text of your request in order to produce an answer or an image. These providers act on our instructions and only for the purpose of delivering the service.
Voice
When you use the microphone, your recording is sent for transcription so it can be turned into text, and is not kept after the transcript is produced. Spoken replies are generated on request and not stored.
How long we keep it
Chats and account data are kept until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Security logs, such as device records, are kept for up to 12 months. Identity documents are deleted once the review is finished.
Your rights
You can see and change your details in your profile, delete a single chat or your whole history at any time, and ask us to export or permanently erase your data by writing to info@theremoteus.com. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent where it applies. We respond within 30 days.
Children
Imran is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them, and any such account and its data will be deleted once identified. A parent or guardian can contact us to request removal.
Security and changes
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, files are stored in private storage reachable only through secure links, and access rules restrict every record to its owner. If this policy changes we update the date on this page, and we will tell you in the app about any significant change.
